The courses will be both full and part time dependent on age. There is an opportunity for these courses to lead onto an apprenticeship in your chosen trade.

Level 2 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery

Open to Camden & Islington residents aged 16 to no upper age limit.

Carpenter

Level 1 and 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation

Open to Camden & Islington residents aged 16 to no upper age limit.

The courses will be both full and part time dependent on age. There is an opportunity for these courses to lead onto an apprenticeship in your chosen trade.

This electronics course is for you if you want to gain the skills required to work in a wide range of industries. Electronic engineers focus on all the electronic devices in the home or workplace. The training will include:

  • Health and safety in building services engineering
  • Principles of electrical science
  • Electrical installations technology
  • Installation of wiring systems and enclosures
  • Understand how to communicate within building services engineering

You will be taught practical sessions in fully equipped workshops. Theory sessions will be delivered in the classroom using a range of teaching tools and techniques.

Electrician

Level 1 and 2 Diploma in Plumbing

Open to Camden & Islington residents aged 16 to no upper age limit.

The courses will be both full and part time dependent on age. There is an opportunity for these courses to lead onto an apprenticeship in your chosen trade.

The training will include:

  • Scientific principles for domestic , industrial and commercial plumbing
  • Common plumbing processes
  • Cold water systems
  • Domestic hot water systems
  • Understanding and carrying out site preparation and pipework fabrication techniques for domestic plumbing and heating systems
  • Understanding and applying domestic cold water system installation and maintenance techniques
  • Understanding how to communicate with others, within building services engineering

You will be taught practical sessions in fully equipped workshops. Theory session will be delivered in the classroom using a range of teaching tools and techniques.
